The David Hockney Gallery

Farrow & Ball colours Purbeck Stone, St Giles Blue, Nancy’s Blushes and Citron create a vibrant setting for the work of David Hockney in a permanent space dedicated to the Bradford-born artist at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery. The gallery, which opened in July 2017 to mark Hockney’s 80th birthday, celebrates the life and work of one of Britain’s most prominent artists.

Annie Swynnerton: Painting Light and Hope

Manchester Art Gallery has used Farrow & Ball colours Brinjal, Stiffkey Blue and Cinder Rose in its retrospective of Manchester-born artist Annie Swynnerton. The exhibition features 36 paintings from across Swynnerton’s career, including 13 from Manchester Art Gallery’s collection with further loans from public galleries including the Royal Academy Collection, Tate and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.

Farrow & Ball paint colours Babouche and Radicchio form a striking backdrop to its latest exhibition on the work of ceramist Kate Haywood. The exhibition, which runs until 7th October, features Haywood’s intriguing, surreal sculptures in finely modelled porcelain with colourful textiles, glass and metallic elements.
